Prince George Housing and Lifestyle

As a Gateway city to Northern British Columbia, Prince George is an excellent home base for exploring the beautiful North. You can enjoy all the amenities of a large city, while wilderness opportunities await you only minutes away in every direction.

Living in Prince George is as fun as it is affordable. With average housing costs and land prices well below that of our southern neighbors, residents can own their property while retaining disposable income. Transportation costs are also minimal due to short and quick commutes to anywhere in the city. From downtown to any of the outlying subdivisions is usually a trip of about 10 to 20 minutes even during “rush hour”.

For a city of its size, Prince George has one of the lowest costs of living in the province.
