The Northern Health currently has 10 Community Oncology Clinics that deliver systemic therapy throughout an area that is close to the size of France. The largest clinic in the region is the Prince George Regional Cancer Care Unit which is housed at the University Hospital of Northern BC. This is a fast paced care center with around 9000 patient visits a year.
Here at RCCU our goal is to give the "best of care, close to home". Our interdisciplinary cancer care team consists of a Medical Oncologist, General Practioners of Oncology, Oncology Nurses, Pharmacists, Social Workers and an Oncology Dietitian. Working together as an interrelated team we strive to provide the best possible outcomes for cancer patients in our region.
RCCU uses state of the art telemedicine technology to provide services to smaller community oncology clinics throughout the Northern Health region. These services include:

The interdisciplinary oncology team in Northern Health is a strong and dynamic group of individuals striving together with BC Cancer Agency to bring to our communities the very best of cancer care.
